'Dancing With the Stars': Meet the dancers

"Dancing With the Stars," everyone's favorite form of vicarious exercise, is back for yet another season of quasi-celebrities and dancers kick-ball-changing their way to ultimate glory. This year's competitors run the gamut from a sex tape vixen to a reality TV restauranteur to a daytime soap diva, and prove you can never be too old, too young or have too many Olympic medals to learn how to do the paso doble.

The moves: A boy band member turned almost-astronut turned it's-OK-to-be-gay posterchild, Bass has done almost everything a young man dreams of. Except win "Dancing With the Stars."
Why we'll root for them: The thought of Lance Bass gyrating with a female take us back to the days of his poster on our bedroom wall. We miss you, 1999!
