You just can't force chemistry. Despite building "Dawson's Creek" around the idea of Dawson and Joey's soulmate-dom, the two just never clicked. The writers wised up a few seasons in and matched the future Mrs. Tom Cruise with the much more appropriate Pacey. Needless to say, Dawson and his disproportionately large forehead were none too pleased
