Having bought out fellow local store Purple Haze, The Jungle Room now has the Birmingham market cornered in exotically colored rugs, pipes and statues of Asian deities. Things have gone so well for the store, in fact, that a new branch, Inflate, has recently opened just off of 9 Mile. Shop assistant Britney Malm, who also plays in local band Busted Puppets, told MMX that the secret to The Jungle Room's success is that "everyone knows about this place. We've been here for around 10 years now."
