The Gibraltar Trade Center is an indoor weekend public market with booth spaces for small businesses selling nearly every kind of product imaginable. You can buy Western wear, bridal lace, tiny donuts, videotapes and CDs, rare books, antiques and collectibles, tacky or fine furniture, area rugs, fad items past their prime, "Scarface" tapestries and dollar-store gadgets, or even get massaged and tattooed -- all under one roof. If you like fried food, relax at the huge snack and food stand in the middle of the place. You can imagine what the people-watching is like. When the weather is warm enough, vendors and ordinary folks start setting up booths outdoors, too, in a quasi-flea market atmosphere.
