If you want amazing food and service visit the Canton Antonio's location. I have been at the restaurant in the dining room and for 3 banquets. It is a great family atmosphere. The Rita sauce is one of our families favorites. My kids always enjoy watching the homemade pastas being made. The homemade bread is delicious, but be sure to save room because the portions of food are huge! I hope you enjoy Antonio's as much as we do.

Called, put in my order, and within 15 minutes, I received the BEST RIBS I HAVE EVER HAD!! They where litterally falling off the bone, and sauce was supberb. Two sides came with the meal, I orderd Potato Salad, and Baked beans and they where just like home made, no canned stuff. I am so glad Canjun Joes is in my area, what more can I say, this restaurant is outstanding, and I'll be back, again, and again.

Great food, beautiful view on the patio in warmer weather

I have not been to this deli but one look at the menu makes it clear the restaurant is not kosher. They serve ham, bacon, sandwiches with meat and cheese, etc. This restaurant should be reclassified. There is very little that's Jewish about a restaurant that serves pork. Ignore my ratings - I had to enter them in order to include this comment.

Ok, so as for this bsr having scary people.... I am not sure that is exactly what I would say. I think it would only be scary to and 80 year old in a suit to be honest. The people in this bar are fun and friendly. Of course, as in any bar, you will get your occasional crzy drunk person who wants to run thier mouth and start something with other people. Let me assure you that these types of people are escorted out as quickly as they walked in. The bands are fun, a little loud some times, but fun. The games are great. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I think before you get scared away from this bar, you should check it out for yourself. If you like loud music, good food, cheap drinks and an all around good place to hang oit, then this is the place for you.

Nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Good food. Reasonably priced. Have been here often for breakfast and a few times for lunch and supper. Never have had a bad experience.

As a patron of Mezza West Bloomfield, I am shocked every time I walk into Mezza Royal Oak. The food preparation time is unbelievably slow compared to all the other Middle Eastern Food chains in Metro Detroit. In addition, the servers have considerable difficulty getting orders in correctly. The problem may be in the kitchen but that would be hard to believe considering how delicious the food is. Yes, the food is absolutely delicious and I hope that brings tons of people in so they can get more professional servers on staff. In summary, the service is horrible but the food is amazing!

Authentic, understated, comfortable and unpretentious. This restaurant serves authentic, from scratch recipes. You won't find a better Italian restaurant in the area, and it is worth the drive to have a chance to eat the best true Italian food around. Our appetizer of calamari was cooked just right, but the homemade marinara sauce is fantastic. The salad was generous in its size, a nice homemade dressing completed the greens. The Veal Saltimbocca was cooked to perfection ... often you will find it chewy and rubbery at other restaurants, not melt-in-your-mouth as it ought to be. The brown sauce is really special ... not a common sauce at those big box Italian restaurants (that aren't really Italian anyway!). The seasoning was perfect. The Shrimp Pomodoro was also really special, with lots of mushrooms and asparagus. We had a bottle of wine, the wine list is a good size and the prices were quite reasonable. The restaurant is small but big enough that you don't feel like you are being constantly watched. The service was spot-on, our server took genuine interest in us. The owner, Al, stopped by the table to make sure we were happy. We had one of the best meals in ages here and cannot wait to go back. The next time we will probably bring the kids.

October 15, 2009 -- Food was delicious but very small portions -- I was still hungry after my main course and I did order a salad with my meal.

Me and my friends have been up to the BIG BEAVER a few times and we have always had so much fun! They have great specials, we went up there on a Wensday and had $3.00 Martinis and not to mention my friend won a $200.00 gift certificate to get her hair done in Royal Oak. We have been up there on a Saturday and met a lot of fun people and the DJ was great!

We were following our group into the restraunt, when a host started yelling (far from asking politely) at us to back up and get out of the restraunt. We tried to explain to him that that is our group, but he kept on yelling and then threatened to not let us in if we don't. Well, we left.

Great food, atmosphere, and service all in one. We went to Ann Arbor for dinner unsure of our destination and we landed here. I had the Spicy Shrimp and my husband had the sea bass. We were both very please with our selections. Presentation was well done and the baby bok choy which accompanied both of our entrees was incredibly fresh and just the right balance to the Asian inspired seafood dishes.

Contrary to other reviews, I love this place. I have gone with my family and friends and always have great service and food. I think the food is farely inexpensive and they have great drink specials everyday. Everytime I go there the staff is friendly and the service is better than most places I have visited.
