My family and I have had several events here at Ernie's and they never disappoint!!! The food is so amazing, the staff are warm and friendly and the owners, Sam & Marlaina are the best, and the atmosphere of the Mediterranean Room is just so nice and relaxed. The decor is beautiful, simple but elegant. The Mothers Day Brunch was out of this world. I have never had Roast Beef cooked so perfectly in my life! I wanted to dive face first... The Thursday night Prime Rib special... what can I say, again, amazing... melt in your mouth, the most succulent prime rib. Tuesday night Lobster tail special, to die for!!! Everything is just amazing here. I highly recommend Ernie's for any and all your functions, no matter what the occasion, they will accommodate!!! Keep up the wonderful job!! We'll be back very soon. There are you average coney island with one major difference. They are open 24 hours 6 days a week. sunday is the only day they close which is at 3 p.m. They did good with their cost plan for the meals. nothing is really that expensive and the meals are fair. I recommend this coney island to people that enjoy coney's.

How would you feel if you were out for dinner and ordered a 24oz draft beer and was served just over 12oz and the wait staff assured you that was a 24oz beer? Would you feel cheated, lied to, scammed? We did because that is exactly what happened at this establishment on Tuesday, April 16. Jacqueline waited on us. My husband ordered a 24oz Miller Lite draft. When the drink came he questioned our waitress if this is truly a 24oz draft. She express, yes that is what we serve. She said, I know it doesn’t look like it but it is. In fact others have questioned the same thing. After drinking the beer, he ordered a 12oz bottle of Miller Lite. Pouring the contents into the empty “24oz” glass the draft was served in, proved you are cheating your customers. The glass was practically full with a few ounces to spare. Calling Jacqueline over to prove our point, she had virtually nothing to say. We were so upset he did not drink the beer and could not finish his meal. We asked for our check paid for our meal and the beverages and left. No doubt someone is getting a kick back. We will NEVER be back to this establishment.

It is a small and modest place but very busy when I was their. Has informal atmosphere but friendly, good place for lunch. The location is great, I walked from the DIA. The menu posted on the wall had a dozen or so crepes of everykind, including vegitarian for someone like me. I put my order in at the counter, took a seat near the window and waited. It was well worth the wait - these are the largest crepes I have ever seen and delicious! I would, and do recommend this restaurant.

Hadn't been there in awhile and apparently missed nothing. The food is pretty bland and not special at all. The calamari was too crispy, and cocktail sauce isn't the best choice to offer with it. The soup (white bean) was the most tasteless soup I've had anywhere, and the dinner salad was just some iceberg lettuce with 1 tomato bathed in dressing. Had the veal saltimbocca which was supposed to have a lemon caper sauce, but was more like some awful brown gravy. They have an extensive dessert menu, but nothing was actually available except the tiramisu and only the center filling was worth eating. The service was below average. The waiter's demeanor wasn't warm and friendly at all. He actually didn't want to give me a new tea bag for hot tea and just wanted to have me use the same one over and over, so I had to specifically request another one. We were in a booth by the stage area where live music was playing on a Friday, and there's a partial wall opening into the bar area where there's a huge TV which was distracting and very noisy. Will not return.

Great burgers with meat from knights market. Very cheap drink specials with cost posted daily on web site. Horrible bartender service. Waiting for a drink from the blond bartender is like waiting in line to use the bathroom at a public sporting event. It seems like it takes forever. The lighting is dark and the crowd is a mixed bag. Working class bar with bohemian mix. Historical building with plenty of space. Avoid the house vodka it is aristocrat and is cheaper than five o'clock vodka and is notorious for cleaning and industrial uses. The live mic and music is a gem. Shuffle the bartenders and adjust the attitude of the staff and this place could be a good bar.
