Kruse & Muer
For its Troy debut, Kruse & Muer customized its already successful seafood bistro style for a new crowd. The signature salad, with its blend of fruit, greens and vinaigrette, took on a tart apple taste. But many staples remain the same. A steaming hot loaf of poppy seed bread is placed promptly on the table, and entrees priced from $9-$25, including tortellini and grilled chicken ala creme or Parmesan encrusted whitefish, still reign supreme. Don't underestimate the ambience of this multilevel 170-seat room, the largest of all the Kruse & Muer establishments, accented by a square bar at its center and three distinct dining levels. --Stephanie A.
