Whether you're up late studying, need some sustenance in your stomach after going out or just plain hungry, there are plenty of places in East Lansing to satisfy your cravings into the wee hours of the night. Here are some of the best places you can go (or dial up) to have a great late night meal.
Bell's has been around for 30 years. They don't deliver, but they have two locations on each end of campus and are open until 4 a.m. every day. Along with their pizza, Bell's offers grinders, salads, gyros, Buffalo wings, cheese sticks and more.
You can enjoy delicious Mexican food until 4 a.m. every night, and there is delivery too. "Our chicken burritos are probably the most popular item, but we also have options for vegetarians and vegans," says Manager Mike Rizik.
Georgio's is one of the best pizzerias in East Lansing. You can order a whole pizza or slices and pick from some interesting toppings. Along with the classic pizza choices, pizza varieties include Veggie Deluxe, Lasagna, Potato, Taco and Chicken Parmesan. Georgio’s is open until 3 a.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday, 2 a.m. on Fridays and midnight on Sundays.
Gumby's is great because there are so many ways to get the food. You can go in to pick it up or have it delivered by ordering over the phone, online and by text. It's open until 3 a.m. during the week and 3:30 a.m. on the weekends. Check out their website for some free coupons.
With three locations to serve customers quicker, Jimmy John's definitely lives by its slogan of "Subs so fast you'll freak." Delivery is available every night until 3 a.m.
"I go to Menna's all the time for the C.T. Dub; it's the only thing that's open and close," says junior, Matt Geoetz. In the short time it's been in East Lansing, Menna's has become popular serving their famous grilled tortilla 'Dubs'. They are filled with chicken, steak, veggies and pretty much anything you ask for as long as they have it. They also have breakfast 'Dubs' for people who may like to eat breakfast late. You can dine-in, get it to go or get delivery. It's open Sunday through Wnesday until 3 a.m. and Thursday through Saturday until 4 a.m.
There is no better time to eat Chinese food than late at night. Rice Kitchen will deliver until 3 a.m., but the restaurant is open until 4 a.m.
