The Cass Café, servicing the Wayne State community for 15 years now, is known for good food, cool staff and a commitment to the community. Famous for their vegetarian dishes like the lentil walnut burger, the menu is also filled with classic dishes for the carnivore. For the last two years Chef Doug Calhoun, a veteran of top kitchens for over 25 years, has been crafting the menu using all of his skill and experience. Calhoun is committed to using local produce as much as possible as well as changing the menu about three times a year to coincide with the seasons. Let's not forget about the bar which has daily specials and on Saturdays, feature $3 bloody Mary’s rimmed with lemon pepper during the day and $3 margaritas at night.
