The newly opened Dino's Northville location is a combination of sports bar and bistro. At this spacious restaurant and bar (with enough flat-screen TVs to cover any sporting event), diners should expect simple bar food. But Dino’s fare quickly impresses even foodies with its competent kitchen crew -- where everything, from daily soups to sauces, are made in-house from scratch.
French-, Italian- and American-influenced cuisine dressed up for a bar atmosphere will satisfy a neighborhood softball team coming in after a game or a couple looking for a romantic night out.
There are lots of appetizers to choose from, like the roasted garlic plate or the cheese plate with boursin and fresh fruit. Diners could easily make a meal out of a few appetizers. Entrée choices cover all the bases from a classic tortellini carbonara with garlic cream sauce and a half roasted chicken to ribs and steak.
This is also a place that caters to fun for the whole family. Dino’s is involved in community events,and already has been played host to numerous functions (check out the calendar on Dino’s Web site for more info). Karaoke is every Wednesday with no cover on any night. Dino’s has a large patio, and during warmer months, they put flat-screen TVs out there. Great spot to score for the Tigers next season.
