Located in the heart of Royal Oak, the wine bar has an extensive wine list -- most of which you can buy by the glass, carafe or bottle -- in every category (from sparkling and desert wines, to light and full-bodied reds and whites) and nearly every famous wine-making region. They even help you out by labeling most of the wines by taste (big/bold, bubbly, crisp, earthy, luscious, smooth and sweet). If you want a little something for your tummy while you're tasting wine, Vinotecca offers a smattering of small plates, cheese samplers, entrees, pizzas and desserts. Wine prices (by the glass) can range from $7 to $15, while most bottles can range from $20-$60. Happy hour is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. everyday, and features half-off all glasses of wine.
