Party pics: The Whitney Garden
May 28, 2008
Summer is not official until a Whitney Garden party is enjoyed. Last Wednesday, Metromix hit the lush green outdoors and learned for the first time ever the Whitney Garden will offer regular dining, including brunch, lunch, dinner and entertainment outside. Happy hours will run Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. where the entire Garden menu will be half off. There will also be a rotating schedule of entertainment -- Wurfull and The Delivery (June 12), Robin Horlock Band and Otto Vector (June 19), Silent Violet and The Wall Clocks (June 26) and the Prime Ministers and Spencer Michaud (July 3) with more acts being added -- as well as free shuttle service to Tigers night games and other around-town activities. "...We think the garden experience and the variety of dining and entertainment options we’ll offer will appeal to just about everyone,” said Bud Liebler, owner of The Whitney.
