Large white and gold pillars surround the main dining room at Antonio's Cucina Italiana in Farmington Hills. Intertwined with the twisted metal twirling between them hang robust grape vines, so deep purple their almost black. The atmosphere at Antonio's is classic Roman and the meals are as authentic as you will find in suburban Detroit. The pasta is made fresh in-house everyday and each location features an espresso and cappuccino bar in case you need a pick-me-up after such a colossal meal. --Erin Branstner
