Waiting for a table here - not unusual. A meal not worth the wait - rare. Pegasus is constantly busy. Serving all the cornerstones of Greek cuisine from flaming cheese to spinach pie, the vegetables are always fresh (try the xoriatiki or Greek village salad for fresh veggies) and the meals hearty. The moussaka and pastichio come in such heaping servings they usually require a take-out box. The casual decor and dress code make for great dinners with friends, but it's better to save the romance for elsewhere. The crowded layout might make tables intimidating but the booths provide the perfect haven for enjoying what tastes like a home-cooked meal. The wine list is nothing spectacular but the waiters who can recommend the perfect compliment for each dish are worth a mention. --Sara Kandel
