Deadwood Bar and Grill is a woodsy Michigan restaurant and a hip bar rolled into one. How many restaurants have deer heads on the wall and also boast a killer list of single malt scotches and trendy aged tequilas? This is the paradox that is Deadwood. The food is yummy, with venison joining the more typical chicken and fish dishes to round out the solidly American menu. There are pool tables and bar specials for the party crowd and nice deck to sit outside with your dinner when temperatures grow warmer. The drunken buck cheese dip -- comprised of a thick cheesy texture with spicy venison sausage -- is a must-have for the carnivore in you. --Sarah Frame
