Ned's Travelburger
We have more options than ever when it comes to fabulous street food, so in 2013, we created this new category for the best purveyors of on-the-go dishes. Readers sided with the delicious burgers served out of a 1946 Spartan Manor Trailer that has been converted into a mobile commercial kitchen. The burgers are made fresh using local ingredients. Hand-cut fries and hand-formed patties give an authentic diner vibe, while the burgers are served on a 7-inch-long freshly baked bun. The condiments are carefully placed for a delicious bite with every bite.

El Guapo
Delicious Mexican cuisine from the streets of Detroit using local ingredients and partnering with michigan-based businesses. The made-fresh menu features tacos and burritos, with amped up flavors to make the food more distinctive.New items include a Korean short rib taco with Asian slaw and black sesame seeds, and a luscious, deep-fried pork belly confit taco topped with guacamole, tangy slaw and Guapo sauce.Among the burritos, don't miss the Mexicue, loaded with juicy braised beef, chunky grilled pineapple salsa, caramelized onions and peppers, cheese and crisp slaw.Vegetarian choices include deep-fried tofu tacos, grilled veggie burritos and the El Jefe sweet potato burrito.
Jacques' Tacos
This gourmet food truck serves fresh, delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine, entirely homemade with fresh, healthy ingredients. This traveling kitchen earned Jacques' the distinction of winning both "Best Food Truck" in Metro Times Best and Real Detroit Magazine. Will Metromix readers fare the same?
Dago Joe's
This is old school gourmet Italian food served on the streets with all natural, bold and truly delicious flavors. A variety of Italian dishes using fresh sauces like the fat-free Lush Sauce, and the famous Racy Olive Sauce are the features here and with plenty of vegetarian options, there's something here for everyone.
Franks Anatra
With a careful play on words, it comes as no surprise that the stars of this street vendor are, well you guessed it, hot dogs and sausages. Franks uses all beef hot dogs and serves soda, bottled water chips to accompany them.
