One of the biggest mistakes is to serve red wine too warm and white wine too cold. Room temperature is about 70-72 degrees Fahrenheit, too warm for wine to be kept for drinking. When wine is this warm it is breaking down into vinegar and can taste hot. Reds need to be served between 60-65 degrees Fahrenheit and whites a bit cooler. Try putting reds in the refrigerator for 20 minutes before serving. Always keep whites in the fridge, and take them out 20 minutes before serving.
