Faygo Cupcakes debut
Faygo Cupcakes -- produced by the Just Baked company using Faygo's own syrups -- debut Nov. 11 in Hiller's and Busch's markets.

The Faygo beverage company and the Just Baked cupcake bakery are unveiling Faygo Cupcakes next week at area Busch's and Hiller's supermarkets, where they're available in six-packs featuring orange, grape and Redpop flavors.

On Nov. 11 -- starting at 9 a.m. -- the first 50 customers at Busch's stores at 24445 Drake in Farmington Hills and 33300 W. Fourteen Mile in West Bloomfield will receive free six-packs of Faygo and Faygo Cupcakes.

The debut of the brightly colored cupcakes, made with Faygo's flavored syrups, marks the first time the 103-year-old drink company has extended its brand and flavors into another product line. The suggested retail price for the six-pack is $6.99.

Just Baked owner Pam Turkin, who signed a special licensing agreement to produce the treats, hopes to offer them at other locations throughout the state.
