Geneva's Hamburgers

- Price range: $ (Under $9)
Local residents come to Geneva's on Detroit's east side for the breakfast and the sliders. A favorite is "five smalls for five dollars": five small hamburgers cooked on a flat top and served with grilled onions on a toasted bun. The menu is typical American diner food: fries, shakes, chicken fingers and coney dogs, but Geneva's is also a popular spot for breakfast and coffee. It's open late on weekends for the post-bar crowd. --Becki Carr
