Clarkston Union Bar & Kitchen
A converted wooden church on Clarkston's Main Street now houses the Clarkston Union Kitchen & Bar, renowned among beer lovers for its huge chalkboard list of craft brews -- 30-plus selections -- and a menu that features sandwiches, burgers, entree salads, and specials like pot pie and meatloaf. The mac-and-cheese is a true destination dish; the half order is plenty. It gets extremely busy on weekends, so don't be surprised if you have to wait.
