About Best of Metromix

Best of Metromix offers our passionate users the opportunity to vote for their favorite venues in categories they are care about a great deal.

How are nominees selected?
Nominees were chosen in two ways: Earlier this year, users nominated their favorites in our core categories, plus our local editorial teams selected nominees based on the best your market has to offer.  Businesses cannot buy a nomination.

 
How long does voting last?
Voting lasts for two weeks, ending on Thursday, February 28th at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be announced shortly after the close of voting, after the editorial team has verified the validity of all the votes.  Editorial teams will determine each category's ultimate result based on the validity of total votes cast for each nominee.

What if a category is missing a nominee I would prefer to vote for?
Metromix welcomes all voters to register or log in and post feedback on existing nominees or your own personal favorites.  Feedback should be posted under each category's "Comments" section. 
 
How often can I vote?
Metromix users are entitled to one vote per category per twenty-four (24) hour time period.  Any attempts to vote more than allowed will result in the disqualification of all surplus votes. 

The Metromix editorial team retains final rights to review all votes, determine their validity and decide the final outcome of each category.

We encourage all voters to share their picks and voting experience with friends via Twitter ("Tweet your vote"), Facebook or other social networking sites.  Any attempts to manipulate the system, however, can result in a nominee's votes being disqualified.
