2011 Detroit Music Awards
The 20th annual Detroit Music Awards held Friday at the Fillmore were hosted by Southfield native actor-comedian Joe Nipote. The annual award celebration featured performances by Dennis Coffey, Insane Clown Posse, Mayer Hawthorne, the Vandellas, Polish Muslims, Annabelle Road, Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas, the Motor City Players featuring Detroit Pistons' Drumline & Automotion, Brilliance, DJ Shortstop and Jeff Bass & Friends.
