The very rare DJ set by the BK MC Talib Kweli was hands down one of the premiere parties of the summer. While DJ Graffiti ripped through a set that was pure hip-hop fire, including a string of Detroit's finest on the mic, the crowd anxiously anticipated Kweli's arrival. And shortly after 11 p.m. the three-hour turntable, live show and all-out party began. Joining Kweli were Philly vocalist Res and Canadian rapper Graph Noble who form the group Idle Warship. Brought to you by the Public Media Group, Plan B was jam-packed, the crowd was amazing and the tunes were absolutely dynomite. If you missed it, rumors have it an encore performance are in the works. 'Til then, Metromix has your back fam with these shots.
