Lola Morales
Born in San Francisco to Nicaraguan parents, Lola Morales is now firmly rooted in Detroit, and her culturally rich combination of American funk and Latin soul is a welcome addition to the already eclectic Motor City music scene. Booties are sure to be gyrating during her Cityfest appearance, for which she’ll be joined by guitarist Sean Blackman. “Write My Story,” her debut album, is out now.
