New York resident and Kill Rock Stars recording artist Marnie Stern makes music so out of line with her innocent looks, one might think she’s got a split personality. A guitar shredder at heart, Stern projects that predilection through an artsy, indie filter so it comes out as a sort of spazz-jazz prog-rock. Complexity kills us every time.
