She sings brainy, sarcastic little pop songs about her bad relationships with the boys she meets down at the pub; he sings brainy, sarcastic little punk ditties (with his band, Arctic Monkeys) about going out with his mates to have a few pints and try out pickup lines like, “I bet you look good on the dancefloor.” Yep, Alex and Kate are perfect for each other—and if they spent most of their relationship hurling insults at each other, well, just think how many great songs they could write about it.
