I can't wait to see who will walk to red carpet this year! I just love watching the grammy awards! I want to know who the nominations are!

Many of the awards, including Best Alternative Album, get handed out during a pre-telecast ceremony. So Band of Horses got left out of the actual show, unfortunately...along with the Black Keys, Carolina Chocolate Drops and many other worthy artists.

why were the alternative bands grammy noms not announced? we have vested interest in band of horses, but they didn't get a mention?
