Anton Chigurh, "No Country For Old Men"
Credit:Richard Foreman/AP
What we want to know: How about everything? Part of the mystery of “No Country” was that Chigurh was a blank slate, a remorseless bundle of evil, wandering the countryside in search of his next victim. What made him this way? Forget the “it’s scarier not to know” excuses. We want to know!
Suggested casting: Since Javier Bardem won an Oscar for his iconic performance it’s hard to imagine anyone else in the role. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Watchmen” fame, has a certain resemblance but we’re not sure he can pull off the creepiness factor. Or the bowl cut.
