Indy goes tomb raidin’ in an all-new adventure
They say you can’t keep a good man down, and few men are as good as Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones. And so, a year after surviving a nuclear blast, Cate Blanchett, and a dressing down by “South Park,” Indy returns in an all-new adventure.
Set in 1939, about a year after the events of 1989’s “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”—and yes, haters, that means there won’t be any aliens or flying fridges—“Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings” features our hero racing the Nazis from San Francisco to Panama to Turkey in pursuit of an ancient artifact. LucasArts will release the game June 6 for the Wii (including the 1992 adventure game “Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis” as an unlockable extra), PlayStation 2, PSP and DS. But there’s no need to wait for the whip, take a look at the game now in our screenshot gallery. —Paul Semel, Special to Metromix
