Woody Allen, “Deconstructing Harry”

Grumpy guy: Harry Block
Practically any Woody Allen movie could have set off the grump-o-meter, seeing as though Mr. Allen was basically born a grump (according to anecdotal evidence). But in “Deconstructing Harry,” Allen plays Block, a writer who is suffering from, you guessed it, writer’s block. He complains and blah, blah, blahs about change, getting old, and losing power under his trousers. So yes, it’s the same grump Allen has been playing for approximately 6,000 years.
