Grumpy guy: Melvin Udall
Damn, what a grump-a-saurus rex! Melvin Udall (Nicholson) is a cranky, OCD writer who hates everyone and everything except Helen Hunt (maybe he should’ve watched “Mad About You” a little more closely). Sometimes he gets irate at Lakers games or smashes golfclubs into car windshields. Oh wait. That’s the real grump, Nicholson.

I'm going to have to go with the character of Adolph Hitler in "Downfall". Talk about waking up on the wrong side of the bed.
