It's been a crazy week, and I'm starting to feel delirious from the lack of sleep. It's gotten to the point that if a 15-minute nap can happen, I'll take it! We have two dances this week — the cha-cha and the Viennese waltz — and I'm really looking forward to both of them.

The Viennese waltz is probably one of my favorite ballroom dances, and I'm really excited that we were given a beautiful piece of music. I've come up with a romantic, heart-wrenching concept to help us execute this dance and the overall concept definitely has a Titanic/Romeo and Juliet vibe.

Katherine is doing really well with the dances. I had them both choreographed and finished by Thursday. That's early — and, for me, it's a first. Now we're just cleaning up the routines, adding refinement and conformation of choreography.

The Latin round promises to be fun, as there's a new challenge for all of the couples. It's called the "Trio" round, meaning we can recruit another professional dancer for that routine. I'm thrilled that we got the pro I wanted. I can't tell you who it is, but let's just say this: I hope this pro helps us find a lucky pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! And maybe this experience will motivate the mystery dancer to finally sign up on Twitter.

Last week was a blast. It was definitely a challenge being sexy with our rumba and dancing to a classical song. In the end, I think we made it work. I was very proud of Katherine, because even I as a professional struggled to connect to that music in a romantic and steamy way. (Judge) Bruno (Tonioli) wanted more raunch, but I was pleased with our scores.

Our team dance was killer and a lot of fun to perform! I'm not sure what was bothering Len (Goodman), but I thought we all did a great job and it was really clean. As a group, we were in sync and each couple's solo was fantastic. It was really sad to see Jaleel (White) and Kym (Johnson) eliminated Tuesday, as he and I had become closer in the last few weeks.

Thursday, Katherine and I squeezed in another music performance on Extra at The Grove, so keep a watch out for that Monday night. I played guitar for her while she sang Black Is the Colour off her album Daydream. As usual, Katherine sounded stellar.

I'm back to rehearsals and can't wait to perform for you all Monday!

Cheerio!
