Myself and a co-worker ate at this restaurant today, and I must say I should have just went to McDonalds. While the portion sizes were huge, the food itself was cold and not very fresh. The salsa, which is a key to a great Mexican restaurant was definitely not homemade, or fresh. I have yet to find a good Mexican restaurant in Monroe. As for this place, your better off with Taco Bell.

I called early October to get information about having a gathering there. I left my number and later received a call from Pam. She informed me that it was no cost for 2 tables and the there would be a big party upstairs but that I could still have them. I was excited because I am not one who goes out a lot. I arrived on the date to meet my guest, thank God I arrived early and no one had showed up yet. I was told that they didn't have me down, only to look in the book and to see that my party had been moved to Sunday. I was later informed that the party upstairs decided that they didn't want any other parties upstairs, which I understood, but that PAM was suppose to contact me to let me know. I had not received a call, smoke signal or anything. This was a very big inconvenience and my birthday was a complete disaster. I had to hurry up and contact all that I had invited and tell them not to come. They will NEVER have to worry about me stepping foot in that place again!!!!!

Love, love, love this place - been in same location for a very long time, my childhood memories are made of going back to "the old neighborhood" with Dad on Saturday mornings to buy rye bread and babka. Certain times of the year, he'd buy me a special cookie shaped like one of the Peanuts characters to eat during the Charlie Brown Halloween and Christmas specials!

I would give this place zero stars. We were there for my sister's birthday celebration. We were a good size group, spending quite a lot of money. We were kicked out of our seats not once, but TWICE. The second time we were "asked" to leave our seats was again because the table was "reserved". (If a table is reserved for a specific time, you should tell people when you seat them, "just so you know, this table is reserved for a party at midnight") We were treated so poorly. The waitress told us that we needed to leave the table because it was reserved. Ok, fine. We all got up and started to gather our things (coats, purses, beverages, etc.) As we were exiting the booth, the bouncer came and started to yell at us, telling us to leave. We expressed that we were leaving, it wasn't an issue and to give us a moment to gather our belongings. Then, the waitress came and put her hands on me and started to push me out of the booth. I told her not to touch me. The bouncer continued to yell at us and then proceeded to grab my husband and force him out of the bar. We did nothing wrong and we were treated like garbage. After my husband was kicked out and that table was seated, my husband was told by the same bouncer that he could come back in.... My husband refused... because, honestly, who in their right mind would want to go back into that environment?! Our entire party left and no one will be returning to this bar ever again. I am disgusted that the staff put their hands on me (and my husband)! I felt so violated and disrespected. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Stay far away from this place.
Why not have those great advertisments block off HALF the picture?

Save yourself! This place is awful! Not only is it awful, but the staff/owner is such a mean man. He is a sexist and racist man. He would only address my boyfriend and would not address me. Even to my boyfriend, he was still very rude! The kitchen area is disgusting and while we were eatting I even saw a mouse run across the floor/baseboard. Do not go to any location.

I have a different perspective than most patrons as I come in during the day, when it is much quieter. I used to come for the "Bikini Lunch" on Fridays, but now they are open for lunch Tuesdays thru Fridays. I found this out last Friday when I came in for lunch. There are no more bikinis and the menu is very limited, but I did meet a very nice new waitress/bartender/cook named Nicole. She is just as friendly and attentive as she is beautiful. So still 5 stars as far as I am concerned.

I was very disappointed. We paid 15.00 for a hay ride. First there wasn't any hay then they have a boom box blaring music and you cant hear anything because the music was so loud and the sound system stunk. I was told it lasted 25 minutes long. WRONG. I WAS TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. It was a total waste of my money. Donuts were 1 dollar and coffee was a buck for like two sips. The only thing that was good was the bon fire. The movie screen you could barely see because the lights were shining on it. TOTAL WASTE. Blakes is ten times better.

We have been here the last couple years and it was pretty good! This year was a joke... a bad joke-we always do the hayride & the narrator was so lame & annoying. Not one person on the ride was enjoying themselves & there were barely any actors out on the grounds. We wont be back & the coupon is a joke cause its only good til 9pm -even if you have been waiting in line, they have someone that marks in line where people are waiting at 9pm. $70 was not worth it at alll!! plus a 3 hour total wait!

Went there around 10 p.m. and got the all inclusive package. First attraction we went on the was the Maze and found it to be really uneventful because we saw more guests than actors (there was only one actor in the maze). We then went on the Hayride which was equally disappointing because they decided to pull nearly all their actors on the ride before we went on, leaving less than a handful on the trail. I was bored throughout the entire ride and really just wanted to get off and go home. I understand the actors and employees need to go home at a certain time, but they should have a specific closing time or at least discount the tickets before lowering their standards by letting nearly everyone home and nobody to work on the attractions.

We chose to try Lelli's for our 25th anniversary dinner since it is very expensive and we could only go for a special occasion. I called two weeks ahead to make the reservation and told the person that it was our anniversary and I'd like a nice table. When we arrived we were escorted to a booth in the very back corner next to the kitchen entrance. There was a draft as well as servers racing back and forth in front of us. Several times the racks for the trays were slammed up against the wall next to my husband. I went back to the hostess stand to find out why my request for a good table had been ignored. She informed me there were no notations about it. Also, that if I wanted we could go up to the bar and wait for a better table. Apparantly Michael Buble was playing at a venue in the immediate area so they were extra busy. I would think this wasn't the first time in all their years this happened. They should have been prepared. The waitress took my husbands drink order and I was still looking at the wine list. She got his drink, came back to take my wine order and never returned for over 10minutes. We ordered Ceasar Salad tableside. The waitress pulled the cart up in front of our table and left it there while she proceeded to serve three parties their meals before she came back. At one point, she asked the hostess who was walking by what the next ingredient was that went in the dressing. Instead of going to the kitchen to get a lemon in the mesh for the salad dressing that she was missing she ran to the bar and got lemon sections and squeezed them straight into the dressing (that then had lemon seeds in it). Of course dinner took just as long, and I have to wonder if it's because when asked if we were going to the concert we said no. The servers were asking everyone and trying to rush the people who were going to the concert. I would have thought celebrating 25 years of marriage would warrant just as good service as someone on their way to a concert? Very disappointing memories of what should have been a very special evening.

This facility is not equiped to have both halls booked at the same time. The walls are too thin to prevent the louder event from completely ruining the quieter event. And employees, managers and owner do not care at all. Do not risk having your event ruined because of a poorly set up hall and a company that does not care if you are satisfied.
