WRIF Rock Girl 2010: Sexy 16
The tantalizing tournament is starting to really heat up as WRIF-FM (101.1) continues its annual Rock Girl search for that special someone to represent the legendary Detroit powerhouse radio station at concerts, VIP events and even on the air... Unless you haven't bothered to read the verbiage accompanying the lovely lineup of ladies these last few weeks on Metromix, the winner of the competition will be rewarded with a $40,000 salary, a scholarship to Specs Howard School of Media Arts, rep the station around town and on air, and a whole lot more.
Of course there's plenty of action on the immediate horizon as multiple events are planned where the general public (that's you!) will be able to mix and mingle as this super-fine femme field is narrowed down (nooo!), including an appearance at the Silverdome Saturday, next weekend's triple-threat exravaganza that kicks off with the Sexy 16 Bus Tour Thursday (April 22) before the big reveal -- the crowning of the WRIF Rock Girl 2010 at the final party at the Fillmore Detroit featuring Seether, Hellyeah, Drowning Pool, and Lacuna Coil.
