To the Nines gala at the Detroit Institute of Arts
Inspired by the stunning "Avedon Fashion Photographs 1944-2000" exhibition currently on display at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the museum's To the Nines gala fund-raiser was truly a spectacular event. The elegant evening started with a seated dinner by Forte Belanger in Troy before the action shifted to a chic and sexy nightclub-styled party. Elegant models and and magnificent performers (including the acclaimed Eisenhower Dance Ensemble) mixed and mingled while showing off classic couture fashions and those world-famous Mr. Song (Aretha Franklin) hats.
