You can't really have a "1st Annual" anything. It doesn't become annual until the second event.

Stuff Your Sorry’s in a Sack: Michael D’amato, Andrea Helton and Jake Taylor
Lake Shore Apartments, the Ypsilanti-housing hideaway for many Eagles' students, presented its 1st annual Ford Lake Frozen Leap, sponsored by emYou! the Magazine, and yours truly, Metromix.com. Thirteen teams participated to help raise funds and awareness for the Wasthenaw County chapter of the American Heart Association. We're still not sure what's crazier -- the crazy costumes people wore or taking a dive into a frozen lake in mid-Feburary in Michigan.
