The first heat of the 2010 summer concert season was felt as temperatures shot right up downtown this past weekend as thousands of metro Detroit country music fans invaded Hart Plaza for the annual WYCD Downtown Hoedown. Loaded with brand-name national acts and talented local musicians, including Dierks Bentley, Julianne Hough, Uncle Kracker and the Zac Brown Band, good times were lassoed up by for the Motor City tradition like no other.
