A little bit of rain didn’t slow down the flow as dozens of metro Detroiters got wet while getting their party on for charity Saturday at Wet Set II hosted by SinglesDetroit.net at the McPherson Mansion. A percentage of the proceeds from the event went to the Modest Foundation, an organization that provides medical and social support for pregnant teenagers. Bob McPherson, the founder of the foundation, said Shed Elamin’s efforts will go a long way towards helping young mothers and their babies get the help they need. “It’s a way to give back to the community and make it a healthy place,” McPherson said.
