You may have been taught not to play with your food, but on Thursday it was more than ok to bring a toy to dinner during Twinkle, Sparkle and Shine, a Toys for Tots charity drive at Mezza Mediterranean Grille hosted by Kelly Hale (Haleblue) and Doris Hage. Sounds were provided by DJ Whip with Jared Sykes on the percussions. “People often say, ‘Oh it's just another Toys for Tots event,’” Hale says. “You have no idea how much these events, and bringing one toy, can touch kids and their families’ lives.”
