Party Pics: Rock vs. Rap charity bowling tournament
It was a friendly battle of bowling and beats at the Rock vs. Rap Charity Bowl-Off at the Garden Bowl in Detroit. Radio stations WJLB and 89X teamed up for the event, putting nearly a hundred rappers and rockers head-to-head to see who would rule the lanes. There were plenty of famous faces to be found throwing some balls around, including Trick Trick, Pistol Day Parade, Dirty Americans, Paradime, and and on-air personalities from both stations.
The rockers came out victorious, donating 60% of the night's proceeds to their charity of choice, Mittens for Detroit. The rappers donated their 40% share to the Detroit Police Officer's Flowers Fund.
