Party pics: Motor City NYE 2012 – The Drop
It was a night for celebrating at Motor City NYE – The Drop, as more than 10,000 revelers gathered at Campus Martius for the second year to witness Detroit’s newest tradition: the dropping of the D. While revelers celebrated in the streets, the sold-out gala inside the Compuware Atrium and Hard Rock Café featured five DJs, including Paradime of Kid Rock’s Twisted Brown Trucker. Strolling hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight with a prime viewing spot to view the Drop rounded out the fun.
