Shazam! That's right, superhero fans and pop-culture geeks, the 22nd annual Motor City Comic Con was here at the Novi Suburban Collection Showcase. This mammoth three-day celebration, which kicked off Friday, is built around celebrity sightings (and autograph and photo sessions). Also on the schedule were panels and exhibitions, a costume contest and more than a million comics and collectibles for sale or trade. Everything from cult-classic movie memorabilia (think "The Evil Dead," "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "Dracula") to throwback T-shirts featuring old-school superheroes like the Incredible Hulk and Captain America were available.
