Mandarendare at Oakland University

Oakland University kicked off its celebration of African American History Month with the Mandarendare Fashion Show at the university's Oakland Center banquet rooms. The show was a celebration of African fashion, body adornment and music. Models sported fashions by local designers to the delight of the appreciative audience. The evening's proceedings were sponsored by Fashion House of Oakland University and Jelly's World Entertainment.
