Last Day dog rescue fundraiser
The dog days of summer were in true form last weekend as Coach’s Corner Bar & Grill in Livonia hosted a fundraiser for the Last Day Dog Rescue of Southfield. The non-profit, no kill dog rescue raised dough for pups, thanks to the many who ate and drank it up all night. Mike George, owner of Coach’s Corner, donated proceeds of the sales, while prizes like Tigers tickets, chairs, coolers, concert ticks, a silent auction and a 50-50 drawing all helped to feed, house, vet and find homes for the pooches in need.
