Autorama 2012
Detroit’s Cobo Center was host to two floors of auto-enthusiast nirvana during the annual Autorama World of Wheels weekend. Celebrating 60 years in Detroit, the 2012 Autorama offered a sample of all aspects of car culture -- from cars built by the world’s best custom car makers to the smallest toys.
During Autorama, the lower level of Cobo Hall wass billed as “Autorama Extreme 1953.” The Extreme 1953 event payed homage to the early days of Hot Rod culture and featured more than 200 traditional rods, customs and bobber bikes inspired by the 1950's custom car scene.
