The weekend after Labor Day signifies the end of summer and the beginning of a 12-hour celebration of local artists and musicians in Detroit’s Cass Corridor. Dally in the Alley, which began as an inner-city art fair in 1977 before moving to its current location in 1982, was anchored by music, food and vendors selling crafts.
