Campus Martius Tree Lighting 2012
The streets were filled with the holiday spirit as performers danced on ice and sang on stage as part of the annual Campus Martius Tree lighting ceremony in downtown Detroit. Thousands of people made their way to the city to see the huge pine tree lit up for the holiday season. Monroe Street was lined with food trucks serving everything from fries to Mexican food. The Mac Shack was serving mac & cheese with a variety of toppings, including "Bacon Made Me Do It."
