These are scary times in metro Detroit, and no, we’re not talking about the economy. We’re referring instead to the frighteningly large number of haunted houses that are throwing open their creaky doors this month to chill your spine and darken your nighttime dreams. From the celebrated Erebus in Pontiac to the adult-oriented Deadly Intentions in Warren to the urban legends-inspired 666 Haunted House in Detroit, these are places created to make brave men wince and bold women shudder.
