The first-ever bi-annual Fashion in Detroit event at the Detroit Zoo -- created by Joe Faris of "Project Runway" -- put the fashion spotlight on metro Detroit's style community by showcasing two days of cutting edge runway shows. The designers included Betsey Johnson, P.S. by Peter Soronen, Femilia Couture, North Beach Leather, Kevin Christiana's MYNT 1792, Marlaina Stone, Schott NYC, Kevan Hall, Carhartt, DivaGroove and even Kid Rock's Made in Detroit (hot) line.
Metromix didn't miss a signature strut and snapped up all the action from both days of the catwalk action and Mon Jin Lau's pre-party and the afterglow at Stage 3 Productions in Warren.
