Friday, Aug. 29 was Metromix's Encore -- the official opening night party for Pontiac's Chrysler Arts, Beats & Eats. Close to 1,300 people packed the electric Crofoot Ballroom for a diverse mix of live entertainment and end-of-summer fun, including a fantasy rock 'n' roll fashion show featuring styles by Regeneration, a radio simulcast from partners 89X, live music on the main stage headlined by The Hard Lessons and a ton of other action that shouldn't have been missed. Featuring a wide array of DJs, bands and photo opps galore (you did make it, and make out, in the ShutterBooth -- yes?), the word on the street is that an encore of Encore has to be experienced as soon as possible.
