Access Detroit took over Washington Blvd. for a street party to celebrate the newly renovated Westin Book Book Cadillac Hotel. Hosted by Spike from Channel 95.5's Mojo in the Morning show, the block party featured Trick Trick, DJs from the Paxahau production company, the Killer Flamingos, the Cass Tech drumline and the over-the-top breakdance crew Detroit Hardcore. The chilly night and rain didn't keep Detroiters from coming out and supporting the kickoff weekend for the Book Cadillac and post-street party those with an all access pass visited nighboring hot spots, including Centaur, Cliff Bell's, Bookies Tavern, the Town Pump and other venues.
